Norman Reedus was born in Florida, and he later moved abroad to several countries (Japan, England, Spain) before arriving in Los Angeles, California, just months before his first film Floating. This took him to several film festivals, and soon he was sought after by agents managers and publicists. His next notable performances where in such films as Six Ways to Sunday, Deuces Wild,Blade 2, Gossip, Mimic and 8 Millimeter.

Biography

Norman Reedus is of English, Italian and Irish Descent.[citation needed] .He has done high profile campaigns for Prada, Allesandro Delaqua, Durban and others.

Norman lives in New York with his son, Mingus Lucien Reedus , named after legendary jazz musician Charles Mingus. His middle name Lucien comes from a role Norman played in the film Beat with Kiefer Sutherland and Courtney Love , (beat poet- Lucien Carr) born 13 October 1999 to model Helena Christensen.

Reedus was in a car accident in late February of 2005 in Berlin when after attending a R.E.M. concert, his driver pitched suddenly into traffic at the wrong moment and a semi truck struck his car. He was jettisoned through the windshield and landed on the sidewalk, receiving some damage to the left side of his face which has left no noticable physical damage.
